Our mission

It's really simple. We aim to do whatever it takes to deliver work that leaves you fully satisfied, happy to use us again, and to recommend POLYGIG to others.

Transparent Fees

Fees are fair, flexible and transparent, charged on a PAYG, retainer, or per job basis, or a combination of these to suit. Clients are kept fully informed so there are no surprises or hidden fees.

Sorted

Committed to doing what is necessary. No job is too big or too small, everything is possible, and no problem is insurmountable.

100% satisfaction

Client satisfaction is of utmost importance to POLYGIG. Your project is not complete until this is guaranteed.

Pricing as it should be

Your website is costed based on its size and complexity and can start from as little as £100 (see some recent projects below for examples).

Fees are fair and transparent with clients often saving long term on DIY cut and paste subscription services (like Squarespace, Wix etc) that can easily become inflexible and "boxy", or overrun.

Our fee is job specific rather than based on a strict per hour/day charge, as outcome is what is important.

POLYGIG also offers flexible monthly packages which can work out more economically than PAYG and can be transferred or cancelled at any time. Although aimed mostly at post-launch work the higher tiers can also be used to spread the cost of the original build. For further details please visit this page >>.

In keeping with our mission, POLYGIG will always advise with integrity.

How much does a website cost?

It depends on the size and complexity of the website but we can work with budgets from as little as £100 for a simple one page template. See our recent projects above for some examples, with costs.

How long does it take?

This depends on the brief but we can usually get a live page up in a matter of days if necessary (and continue working on it later if required).

Will my website be mobile-friendly and responsive?

Yes, with many people accessing web content through different size screens, and especially mobile phones, this is now essential. We build and test all our websites on a multitude of browsers and screen sizes.

What is the process?

The process can vary according to the brief and the size of the project but normally we would start with a free no obligation branding questionnaire.

We will then discuss the structure of the proposed website including behind the scenes requirements if appropriate such as contact management and payment systems.

A quote will be provided early in the process.

Proposed designs will be shared before build commences and we will continue to keep clients informed and respond to their wishes along the way. At each stage we can advise accordingly or take your lead depending on your requirements.

Do I need to provide content (eg. text and photos)?

Usually you would provide some of the content but it's entirely up to you. POLYGIG can provide this as part of the service, and populate pages, but you would of course have final approval.

What is fair use?

Fair use in this context refers to the monthly plans. These rely on reasonable fair use and the flexibility of both parties where work demands can fluctuate. There is therefore no set minimum or maximum time allowance per month, but the plans will be monitored to ensure they continue to meet the needs of both parties.

Do you use AI?

Yes. AI tools are used to work smarter and faster helping deliver targeted work, meet deadlines, and reduce costs. However never at the expense of personal attention and experienced human discernment.

Do you offer ongoing maintenance and updates?

Yes, this is part of the offer, either on an ad-hoc basis, or through one of the monthly retainer packages.

Can I operate the website myself?

Yes, by all means. You can take on the website yourself entirely, or leave POLYGIG to run it, or take a hybrid flexible approach of a bit of both as necessary.

Can you provide training on operating the website?

Yes, we can give you access to the workings of the website platform and provide training. This can be included within one of the higher tier packages too. In any event we can continue to be on hand to assist as you learn.

Do you design logos or create branding?

Yes we have a design wing that specialises in branding including logos. In fact this is usually an inherent part of the process (for all but the smallest of website projects).

Do you organise domain names and hosting?

Yes, these can be arranged, and is included in all the monthly packages if you so choose (these are not obligatory though and a domain name and/or hosting subs can still be arranged independently).

What if I have already registered a domain name?

This is no problem. We can work with nearly all domain registrars.

What if I already have a website?

That's fine. It can be revamped or completely overhauled using your existing domain and hosting, or transferred to the POLYGIG system.

What is a "standard domain"?

A standard domain name in the context of POLYGIG services is one that can be included in the Starter Package (ie. a domain costing no more than £20/year). This usually covers names with common extensions (the bit after your name and the dot) like .co.uk or .net. Some premium or specialist names do cost a lot more but can still be secured on arrangement if available.

What does "within limits" mean in the packages?

The hosting platforms we use have certain limits for the back end facilities like your contacts database. The vast majority of our clients will be well within these but if you are a large project you may not qualify for the Starter package and will need to upgrade to "Growth".

Can I see your Ts and Cs?

Yes, the link to the POLYGIG general terms and conditions including privacy and refund policies is here.
